Frequently asked questions.

Q: What time is can we check in from? 3pm

Q:Will we be able to check in early? It may be possible but please check with us first.

Q: Can we check in around 8pm or later? Yes, the keys are in a key safe next to the front door.

Q: How do I get the code for the key safe? The code can be found in the welcome letter which is emailed to you once we have received the balance for your stay.

Q: What time is check out? 11am

Q: Can we get a late check out? It may be possible but please check with us first.

Q: Do you accommodate school’s groups? Yes we do.

Q: Do you accommodate Duke of Edinburgh groups? Yes, ether camping on our meadow and using the bunk barn facility’s providing we don’t have any other group, staying in the bunk barn or in the bunk barn it self.

Q: Do you have any outside space? Yes, we have a level grass area next to the bunk barn that you can use to play games on. We also have a meadow a short walk from the bunk barn which you can use too. There is a woodland pasture around the bunk barn that has a lovely circular footpath which you can follow.

Q: Do you have a BBQ, and can we use it? Yes, we have a large BBQ that is located by the front door of the bunk barn which you can use. Please bring your own charcoal.

Q: Do you allow camping? Yes, with prior notice. If you are part of a group booking in the bunk barn we ask that the group booking does not exceed 34 in total.

If you are a group or an individual who would like to camp only, please check with us as it will be wild camping. Please see our wild camping page.

Q: Parking :- There is parking for at least 15 well parked cars. We also ask that people to always keep the access clear to the buildings at the back.

Q: Do you allow people to stay in their camper vans? If they are part of the group booking in the bunk barn, then yes but we don’t allow electric hook ups.

Q: Do you allow electric hook ups for cars or vans? Sorry we don’t allow electric hook up.

Q: Do you provide toiletries? We provide hand soap and paper towels, please bring you own shower gel, shampoo etc.

Q: What do you provide in regards to kitchen equipment ? please click here for a link to what we provide.  

Q: Do you have a wood burner? Yes, we have a lovely wood burner located in the living room. Please bring your own wood or order a bag from us before your arrival.

Q: Do you have a fire pit? We don’t have a fire pit, but you are welcome to bring your own. All we ask is that you don’t use it on the grass, you can use it on the cobbles in front of the bunk barn.

Q: Supermarkets:-there is a small supermarket in the Village (approximately 1 a mile away)               

• Spar and petrol station in Threshfield (approximately 1.5mile away)
• There is a large Tesco and Morrisons in Skipton (approximately 10 miles away) 

But all the major supermarkets do deliver to the bunk barn with no problem.

Q: Where is the nearest Pub? We are located 0.5 miles outside the village of Grassington where there are 3 pubs                

• The Devonshire Grassington
• Black Horse Hotel
• The Foresters Arm   

Q: Do you provide any meals? Sorry we don’t provide any meals as we are self-catering accommodation.

Q: Can we hold event at the bunk barn? Yes please give use a call or send us an email to discuss. 

Q: Do you let stag or hen party’s stay? Sorry we don’t allow stag or hen parties.

Q: Can we put up decorations? Yes, all we ask is that they are taken down before you leave.

Q: Can we move furniture around?  Yes you can in the kitchen/living area as we understand different groups may like to alter the layout. We do ask you not to move the bunk beds or the picnic tables as these are heavy and can cause damage.
